Several Xfinity technicians went above and beyond in their jobs this year. They took part in Comcast Texas’ Surprise Squad – an effort to recognize deserving individuals across the area. Over the summer, techs surprised firefighters in Kingwood and honored a beauty queen in New Caney.

Most recently, the Surprise Squad including technician Cordell Thompson visited an elementary school in Magnolia to honor a deserving teacher with new school supplies and a garden makeover.

“The reaction of the faculty and the honorary Ms. Coovert gave me a prideful gratification knowing I am part of the Comcast family that provided the service,” Thompson said.
