Newest Xfinity Store Opens in Southwest Houston
Community leaders recently joined Comcast to celebrate the grand opening of Xfinity’s newest store in the Sharpstown area of southwest Houston.
The store’s interactive design provides a destination for visitors to experience the complete line of Xfinity products and services—powered by the nation’s largest and most reliable network.
Representatives from the Asian Chamber of Commerce helped host the event to cut the ribbon on the Fondren store located at 7505 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77074. City of Houston Council Member Edward Pollard joined the celebration and welcomed guests to the new store in his district.
“When I walked through the door the first thing I saw was ‘Reliable Connection’ and I think that’s what you all represent, not only from the devices and equipment but the relationships you build within this community,” Council Member Pollard said. “I want to thank you for your tremendous investment in the community.”
Rasheedah Carr, Comcast’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, told the crowd the new location is part of Comcast’s goal to reach more customers in communities across southeast Texas.
Comcast, the largest internet service provider in southeast Texas, is expanding its interactive Xfinity stores to seven additional new communities through 2025. The Fondren store is the 36th retail location to open in the region.
The other new stores will open throughout 2025. New store addresses will be announced on ComcastTexas.com.
