Surprise Squad Delivers Sweet Treats to Neighbors in Montgomery

Surprise Squad visits Montgomery

When you’re the ‘new neighbor’ in town, it’s common in Montgomery to get a knock at your door from a smiling new face, holding a basket full of sweet treats, that says,”Howdy, new neighbor. Welcome to town”. What’s uncommon is just the opposite, a sweet surprise from the new neighbor that honors the heart of the community.

Watch 👀 to see how Comcast’s Surprise Squad unexpectedly dropped in to make a lasting first impression in the small town that’s known as the birthplace of the Texas flag. 👇

The Surprise Squad, which includes local Xfinity technicians, made its first stop at the Charles B. Stewart- West Branch Library to share specially made cookies with librarians. The cookies featured the Lone Star flag and the internet giant’s logos. Their second stop was the Nathaniel Hart Davis Museum Complex, which holds the replica of the first design of the Texas flag.

Last month, Comcast began building the nation’s fastest and most reliable network in the city of Montgomery.
