Comcast is Looking for a Few History Makers – Nominate One Today!
In celebration of Black History Month, Comcast will soon host its fifth annual Mayor’s History Makers Awards to honor eight community volunteers from Houston’s African American community. Honorees will be recognized for their outstanding volunteerism, mentorship, advocacy and/or civic engagement.
These History Makers will be celebrated through video tributes and featured across Comcast social media platforms in February 2021. In addition to being recognized, a $1,000 donation will be made to the 501(C)3 nonprofit organization of the honoree’s choice.
