Cheers and smiles filled the Boys & Girls Club as Comcast Texas, in partnership with the Houston Texans and Crime Stoppers, surprised the families and children in attendance with 50 brand new laptops. The event, held at the Morefield Boys & Girls Club, featured a Digital Literacy Workshop with a special focus on online safety.

Scoring Big with Digital Literacy
Tim Jamison, a Houston Texans Legend, shared personal stories and insights about the role technology plays in the life of an athlete. As part of the team effort, Rania Mankarious from Crime Stoppers provided valuable tips on cyber and internet safety. After the presentation, families and fans got to mingle with Jamison and Texans mascot Toro, and enjoy football-themed fun and games.

This year, Comcast Texas has invested $60,000 into the Boys & Girls Club to boost digital skills and provide crucial tools.
