City of Fulshear and Fort Bend County leaders recently joined the technology leader to celebrate the community’s newest Xfinity store. The new retail store is located 6420 FM 1463, Suite 500, Fulshear TX 77441. It’s the first of ten Xfinity stores Comcast plans to open in southeast Texas this year.
At the grand opening event, Fort Bend County Pct. 1 Commissioner Vincent Morales shared his excitement to have Xfinity’s presence in Fulshear, which he says will help his community members have better access to high-speed internet service and mobile and home devices. Representatives from the city’s economic development office and the Fort Bend County Chamber of Commerce also spoke about the store’s impact to the community.
Comcast also made a $22,500 investment to The Literary Council of Fort Bend County, a trusted nonprofit partner, at the grand opening. The organization plans to use the funding to help adults improve their literacy skills through digital training.
