Comcast Names New Vice President to Lead Houston’s Technical Operations Team

Jerome Butler

Comcast Houston has tapped Jerome Butler as its new Vice President of Technical Operations.

Butler brings more than 30 years of field operations and customer care experience to Houston and will lead front-line technicians and operations teams that are responsible for connecting residential and business customers to Comcast’s reliable high-speed network. Butler will report directly to Comcast Houston’s Regional Senior Vice President, Ralph Martinez.

“I look forward to seeing Jerome and the team take us to the next level of excellence,” Martinez said. “Jerome brings an exceptional ability to deliver strong customer and employee experience results. His desire to work collaboratively to resolve complex issues, while driving best-in-class operational performance, sets him apart.”

Butler has a long history of success at Comcast. He recently served as a Sr. Director of Business Operations in Comcast’s Northeast Division. Previous to that, Butler was a leader in several other major Comcast regions like Boston, Washington D.C., Mobile, Dallas and Houston.

“I am thrilled to continue to grow my career within the Comcast family,” Butler said. “I am excited to return to Houston. I cannot wait to hit the ground running and continue the inspiring work of connecting communities across the region.”

Butler will officially join the Houston Comcast senior leadership team on June 27.
