Mitch Danklef to Lead Business Development for Houston Region

As part of Comcast’s ongoing expansion efforts in the Houston Region, it has committed to establishing additional partnerships with local developers and cities’ economic development departments. These partnerships will enable Comcast to further expand its fiber network to be inclusive of rural broadband areas, thereby creating “live, work, play” environments for residents and businesses that need access to Gig services as they connect remotely.

Mitch Danklef, Senior Director, Business Development

Comcast announced that Mitch Danklef has been appointed to lead this effort, as Senior Director, Business Development for the company’s Houston Region. Under Danklef’s direction, the Houston Region will focus on business development and the continued expansion of Comcast’s infrastructure through partnerships with residential housing developers, city economic development organizations, technology companies, and other strategic businesses to accelerate growth and enhance the customer experience.

Danklef joined Comcast 10 years ago and has held numerous leadership roles in Comcast Business and Finance.  Prior to Comcast, he held numerous sales and sales leadership positions in the sales and marketing services industry.

“Mitch is a proven, hands-on leader who cares deeply about his employees and customers and is always striving for excellence and partnership in growing the business,” said Ralph Martinez, Houston Regional Senior Vice President. “His passion and expertise will be instrumental in our efforts to enhance the customer experience and accelerate network expansion across Houston.”

Danklef is a graduate of University of Missouri – Columbia. He and his wife Joan of 28 years enjoy spending time with their 19-year old twin boys, Jack and Sean. Mitch enjoys volunteering at Sugar Land Animal Services with Sean and cheering Jack in football at Trinity University.
